Shirley Poppy Mix
This poppy mix is a variety of Shirley Poppies that Hannah at Golden Heron’s flower farm has been growing for a few years. I hand harvested these seeds from a mix of all different kinds of poppies.
In mild winter areas, you can direct sow these seeds by scattering them all around in the Fall and before our winter rains come. You can show into early Spring for blooms come May and June. The bees LOVE these poppies and you will be delighted to watch them gather pollen from them. If you want to use as a cut flower, then harvest just before the outer pods fully open. You can let them go to seed and once dry you can shake out their many many seeds all around for more flowers to come the next year.
Approximately 1ml of seeds per pack.
