California Poppy "Dusky Rose"

$5.00

This sweet pink single petal California poppy is a delightful alternative to the traditional orange California poppies you see growing wild along the California coast in the late spring to early summer months. In areas with mild winters, you can scatter the seeds around the garden from fall to early spring and you will have blooms come late spring to early summer. Let the seed pods dry out and seeds will self sow over and over each year.

I have used these as a cut flower in the spring, and when grown in partial shade I get very long stems. But be aware that once the heat of summer hits, the leaves can get mildew and not attractive for cut flower use.

Approximately 50 seeds per pack.
